Lorrie Sandelin is a recent graduate of William Mitchell College of
Law. Before joining the legal profession she had a background in
both human services and small business. Lorrie received her
bachelors degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth where she
majored in Sociology and Political Science. She worked for several
years at the Bethany Crisis Shelter in Duluth, MN before moving to
Minneapolis to pursue law school. While living in Minneapolis she
helped start a small mortgage company where she worked throughout
law school. Lorrie is excited about being a part of the legal
community in Duluth and joining Melanie Ford as her new associate.

My mission is to provide representation that focuses on each client's individual needs and goals. Because court proceedings can be intimidating, my goal is to build confidence in my clients and educate them on the process. I know that legal problems are very personal to each individual; my objective is to work with each client to realistically, effectively, and thoroughly achieve their goals.
My areas of practice include family law, criminal law, bankruptcy, and workers compensation. With each client I will carefully evaluate the circumstances of your case, explain the procedures of the process to you, and maintain contact with you to keep you well informed on the process. My goal is to explore all avenues of dispute resolution to provide the most competent and cost effective way for you to achieve your legal goals.
